Korvalan Komea’s booking and reservation terms apply to:
Table reservations
Private events and venue bookings
Purchased tickets for public events and workshops
Booked private group events
Catering and food service orders

MaMa Delight Oy operates Korvalan Komea restaurant, event venue, and experience center, providing services to both private individuals and companies.
We reserve the right to change prices and terms at any time.
All listed prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

ORDERING & BOOKINGS
Dining reservations, event tickets, and workshop participation are mainly made through Bókun or DinnerBooking reservation platforms.
We also use the Holvi online store for ticket sales.
Instructions and reservation terms can be found in Bokun and Dinnerbooking. Make sure to follow our terms when reserving table in our Restaurant.
Private events and venue reservations can be made by email at restaurant@korvalankomea.com.
Please include the following details in your message:
Number of guests
Desired services (meals, activities, etc.)
Preferred date and schedule
Your contact information and phone number
All orders are based on a written offer, which must be approved by both the seller and the buyer before confirmation.
Private group events (such as cooking classes) are booked via email.
Catering and food service orders are made by email at restaurant@korvalankomea.com.
Please include in your message the desired date, nature of the event, preferred menu or services, number of guests, and your contact information.
As with venue bookings, catering orders are based on a written offer accepted by both parties.
If you are hosting an event or celebration at Korvalan Komea, the price and details will always be agreed upon individually. Your reservation is confirmed by paying a booking fee, which depends on the event size — up to €500 for corporate clients and €300 for private clients. You will be informed of the applicable amount during the booking process.
Participation in our events or workshops requires purchasing a ticket through Holvi’s online store. Your place is secured and confirmed once payment is completed in Holvi’s checkout.
To confirm a booking, the customer must pay either the full amount (for events and workshops) or a booking fee (for table reservations, venue or catering reservations). The remaining balance will be invoiced separately or paid on-site after the event.
The booking fee is fully deducted from the final invoice total.
Invoices are sent within two weeks of the service date.
By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms and conditions, prices, and possible delivery costs.
PAYMENT
Payments on-site are processed through the Flatpay terminal, where you can pay at the time of service.
If the customer wishes to pay by invoice, a €5 billing fee will be added. Dinners and open events can not be paid by invoice.
PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDERS
Our official payment intermediaries are:
Holvi (Holvi Payment Services Oy, Business ID 2913756-4)
DinnerBooking (DinnerBooking Finland Oy, Business ID 3085545-6)
Holvi is registered in the payment institution register maintained by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA).
Payments are made securely through Holvi’s online service.
The account statement or invoice will show Holvi Payment Services Oy as the recipient.
All payment information is encrypted, ensuring that no external party can access transaction details.
The purchase agreement is made between the customer and the online store (Korvalan Komea).
When purchasing through DinnerBooking, you must register as a user on their website.
The agreement is made between the customer and the online store, and DinnerBooking forwards the payment to the merchant.

GENERAL
Korvalan Komea hosts private events such as company parties, weddings, graduations, and birthday celebrations.
You can reserve either the entire restaurant or one of our dining halls exclusively for your event.All event details — including date, duration, and scope of services — are always agreed upon individually.
During the event, guests are responsible for their own behavior and any items they use.
MaMa Delight Oy does not insure guests.
If any damage is caused to the restaurant property, furnishings, or surroundings, the guests are fully liable for the damage caused.
The event organizer (the person making the reservation) is responsible for any damages caused by their guests.We reserve the right to make changes to our terms and conditions.
Any changes will always be communicated by email.CANCELLATIONS
If the event is cancelled by the customer 14-7 days before the reserved date, the booking fee (typically €100–500) will not be refunded.
For cancellations made less than 7 days before the event, 50% of the total service price will be charged.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the reserved time, 100% of the total service price will be charged.If the booking must be cancelled by the service provider, we will do our best to help find a replacement venue or date.
However, the provider is not obliged to cover any additional costs or guarantee a substitute service.
In such cases, the booking fee will be refunded in full within seven (7) days to the customer. -
In the following terms, all occasions such as cooking classes, workshops, themed days, and dinners are collectively referred to as “events.”
In some cases, specific terms may apply to individual events, and these will be stated separately in the event description.GENERAL
During the event, all participants are responsible for themselves as well as for any equipment, tools, or materials they use.
MaMa Delight Oy does not insure participants or the materials used during the event.Each event will only take place if a sufficient number of participants have registered.
We reserve the right to make changes to event details.
Any changes will always be communicated to registered participants by email.CANCELLATIONS
Registration for an event is binding, and payments are non-refundable if the participant is unable to attend.
However, participants are allowed to transfer or sell their ticket independently and must inform us of any name changes by email at restaurant@korvalankomea.com.If a private event is cancelled by the client, the booking fee will not be refunded.
The event date may be rescheduled once free of charge within six (6) months, provided the change is made at least 14 days before the scheduled date.
If a private event is cancelled less than 14 days before the agreed date, 100% of the total service price will be charged.All cancellations or changes must be made by email to restaurant@korvalankomea.com.
The seller will confirm receipt of the message and clarify which cancellation terms apply.ABSENCES & ILLNESS
If you are ill and cannot attend an event, the participation fee will not be refunded.
Participants are welcome to resell or transfer their ticket independently and/or contact Korvalan Komea for assistance.
The seller will do their best to help find a replacement participant but will not handle financial transactions on the client’s behalf.If a private event must be cancelled due to illness, the booking fee will not be refunded, but the reservation can be rescheduled once free of charge.
CHANGES TO EVENTS & ORGANIZER ILLNESS
Korvalan Komea reserves the right to change the schedule of both public and private events if necessary.
Participants will be informed of any changes by email.If the new schedule is unsuitable for the participant, they may cancel their participation and receive a full refund.
For private events, a new event date will be agreed upon, and 10% of the event price will be discounted as compensation for any inconvenience caused. -
GENERAL
Korvalan Komea provides catering and food services for both private and corporate clients.
All orders are carried out according to a separately agreed contract, which must be approved by both the client and the seller.INVOICING
For orders exceeding €600, a booking fee of €200 will be charged to cover material costs.
This amount will be fully deducted from the final invoice.
Invoices are sent within two (2) weeks after the delivery.CANCELLATIONS
If the order is cancelled at least 14 days before the delivery date, 50% of the total service price will be charged.
If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the agreed delivery date, 100% of the total service price will be charged.If the service provider must cancel the order, we will do our best to help find a replacement service for the day.
However, the provider is not obliged to cover or compensate any related expenses and cannot guarantee a substitute service.
In such cases, the booking fee will be refunded in full within seven (7) days to the customer.
We update these terms regularly, so please remember to check the latest version before making a reservation.
